Created by Olivier Casile. A nice program which has been around for a while. One of the most popular PC program due to its user interface and ability to read the Thor databases. Considerably weaker than the top programs though.

Herakles

Created by Kostas Tournavitis. A freeware program with several strong engines.

Keyano

Created by Mark Brockington . The only parallel Othello program that I've heard of.

Logistello

Created by Michael Buro . The strongest Othello program ever, beat the human world champion (Takeshi Murakami at that time) by 6-0 in August 1997. It retired in January 1998. Before that, it dominated the computer Othello scene since 1994. The source code was made public in January 2003.
